Earlier this week, Someshzade from Nexaracks reached out to me with information that they were launching a VPS offer in India. I had earlier tested their VPS from Leapswitch, Mumbai location, and was more than happy to rest out this new test piece.
Update:
1. You can find the plans and the pricing here.
2. Fixed the links to the images.
Last month, I had run benchmarks on the Arizona, US location offered by Nexaracks. In this pose, I am excited to test our a VPS in India by a VPS provider from India.

Concluding Remarks
For the price the specifications (in particular the 200 GB/month bandwidth) may raise some questions and eyebrows. I had a chat with Somesh on this matter, and their take is that the high cost of bandwidth makes it difficult to propose an offer. The additional 200 GB/month on paying annually might take care of this, maybe they could offer an option of buying additional BW for a fee.
A note on the tests
The tests were not without their quirks. Below I have mentioned a couple of them.
- Choice of Operating System:
In the test machine, Virtualizer offered only three Distributions of Linux: CentOS, Ubuntu and Debian. I found it quirky that options under Ubuntu were 16.04 and 18.10.
2. The location of the VPS is rather perplexing, because in Virtualizor panel it shows the location as somewhere in Eastern India (in the state of West Bengal). But if I triangulate the distance to from the Speedtest results, I get a completely different location.
